Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems are one of the most commonly used controls to minimize the amount of harmful substance released into the working atmosphere at source.

At MFE we offer a full service using the latest measurement techniques to assist you in compliance with the COSHH regulations through the undertaking of LEV system examination and testing. We provide full written reports in hard copy and on data disc for each unit on site. The report comes with full recommendations for any remedial works required to bring units up to the current regulatory standards.

REGULATION 9 COSHH requires that all control measures, including LEV plant:

• Be thoroughly examined and tested at least once every 14 months.(This period is shorter for some substances and processes).
• Be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient working order and in a good state of repair (consult IFS)
• Should keep a record of the thorough examination and test for at least 5 years
